Coronavirus: Emirates, Wizz Air Cancel Budapest-Dubai Flights

Airlines Emirates and Wizz Air are suspending their Budapest-Dubai flights.

Emirates said on Thursday that it is cancelling its Boeing 777 flights on March 21 and 22, and then between March 24 and May 20. Passengers are being offered an opportunity to re-book their flights or obtain a refund.

Wizz Air is suspending its Budapest-Dubai flights between March 22 and April 3. The company has warnedpassengers that those without a special permit to enter the United Arab Emirates will not be allowed to board its planes in Budapest. It will only carry Hungarian nationals or people with residency in Hungary from Dubai to Budapest.

The UAE banned foreigners from entering its territory starting on Thursday.
